Job Title: Project Delivery Manager

Salary: From £60,000 depending on skills and experience with executive car allowance and bonus benefits.
What you’ll be doing:
* Responsible for leading, managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams whilst covering a range of subject areas within associated semi-complex projects, multiple simple projects or complex control accounts.
* Be responsible for ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient means of delivery, whilst mitigating risks and leveraging opportunities.
* Actively highlight any failures and shortfalls positively whilst drawing through LFE into the projects or control accounts. With this, you will also be advising on mitigations and engaging with the Delivery Manager to mitigate wider occurrence.
* Regularly meet the customer to understand the objective, requirements and the means of acceptance for all projects.
* Be responsible for meeting budgets, maintaining schedules and delivering scope in line with the project requirements.
* Support the construction (through the Project Controls Function) of the Performance Measurement Baseline for the project or control account.
Your skills and experiences:
* University degree/professional Project Management qualification or practical experience gained through industry work with the application of Project Management.
* Experience of leading and managing a project management team whilst delivering semi-complex projects or control accounts with a variety of stakeholders.
* Have a wide knowledge of the Submarine Build process.
* Hold previous experience of utilising best practice methodologies in the successful execution of project delivery including – risk, stakeholder, schedule, planning, scheduling, change, financial control, performance and hold point management.
* Have the ability to achieve delivery results by influencing others through exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.

The Alliance Delivery team:
By joining us in the team, you will play a key part in the development and delivery of the SSBN Dreadnought Programme. You will have a great opportunity to interact with BAE’S Contract Management Team and site facility owners as well as the Alliance Programme team and members of the industry partners. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your career within BAE Systems due to exposure gained across multiple business areas. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
