Job Title: Science Teacher (Physics - Maternity) Location: North West England, Cheshire, Poynton Job Type: Contract, Part-Time hours (Everyday except Thursday's) Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £162 - £251 Per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative science lessons to students Create and implement lesson plans in line with the national curriculum Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback Support students in their academic and personal development Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Science or related field Experience teaching science at the secondary level Education: PGCE Secondary Science (any science) Experience: Prior experience teaching science at the secondary level Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the national curriculum for science Excellent classroom management skills Ability to engage and inspire students Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities Working Conditions: The Science Teacher role is based in a secondary school setting in Poynton, Cheshire. The position is part-time (4 days per week), with the teacher expected to work a set number of hours per week.
