Job responsibilities Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for full details of responsibilities To assist in the delivery of a high-quality Liaison Psychiatry service within Hinchingbrooke Hospital in keeping with the visions and values of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. Providing and undertaking timely biopsychosocial assessments and risk management plans in accordance with CPFTs Clinical Risk Assessment and Management policy for adults presenting to the Emergency Department and Hospital Ward inpatients with mental health problems. Promoting a safe and effective service throughout the hospital; this will be through training and giving expert advice and support to nursing and medical teams within the Emergency Department and wards Maintaining a visible, professional presence where patients, carers and staff can turn for assistance, advice and support. As part of the Liaison Psychiatry Service, the post-holder will contribute to the multidisciplinary clinical assessment and management of patients referred to the service in collaboration with other team members. To participate in and promote close links with community mental health teams and other agencies to develop effective care plans.
