The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing key customer accounts, ensuring effective communication, order alignment, and service excellence. Acting as the primary operational contact, they will oversee customer order books, drive revenue recognition, and minimise arrears. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams to meet contractual commitments, enhance customer satisfaction, and identify growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities as an Account Manager:
• Manage customer accounts, ensuring accurate order alignment and timely order fulfillment.
• Act as the main operational point of contact for customer communication, both internally and externally.
• Oversee demand forecasts, customer orders, and ensure ERP system alignment.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations to establish lead times and resolve order issues.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as COTTP and arrears management.
• Conduct customer performance reviews, manage service level agreements (SLAs), and oversee overdue payments.
• Support the SIOP process using CRM and business tools to enhance sales operations.
