An exciting opportunity has arisen in Sefton Adult Social Care to become a Team Manager in our Community Assessment teams.
There are two new posts based in the South and North of our borough, and it will be essential that the two successful candidates work closely together to align leave and training commitments and provide mutual support across the teams.
As a Team Manager, you will have management responsibility for a busy team of both qualified Social Workers and Community Assessors, whose role is to work in partnership with people (over the age of 18 years) completing the statutory duties of the Local Authority under the Care Act 2014.
We are excited about a number of innovations that we are making to the way we work with people, so we are looking for someone who is open and flexible in their leadership approach.
Sefton is a vibrant local authority that is already on a journey of aspiration and ambition as it works towards delivering its exciting Vision 2030.
Our borough is the northern area of the Liverpool City Region with more than 273,000 residents.
We have the best of both worlds in Sefton, the vibrant city of Liverpool to the south and 22 miles of fantastic coastline and respected green spaces in the north. The borough is internationally recognised for its outstanding natural beauty and commitment to sustainability and has a flourishing visitor economy.
With the famous Antony Gormley’s ‘Another Place’ installation, attractive beaches, dunes, and the resort town of Southport, the diversity of the borough provides a unique mix of urban and natural setting.
Here in Sefton, our communities look out for each other. We focus on our similarities and diversities but never on our differences, working together for Sefton people.
If you feel you are the right person for one of these key positions, we would welcome your application.
If you would like to be part of our team and contribute to our ongoing success and have the flexibility and drive to enable us to innovate and make a difference to outcomes for adults and carers, then we would like to hear from you.
We look forward to meeting you for an interview in early 2025.
