Pensby High School is an 11-16 co-educational and non-selective secondary school; in a highly selective local authority. We are currently looking to employ a Teacher of PE to join our successful department. Pensby High School has seen a rapid improvement in outcomes for its students. We are committed to placing the development of teachers and therefore students’ learning at the forefront of what we do. As a result, we are seeing a rapid growth in the number of students across both key stage 3 and 4, with parents and students increasingly seeing the school as their first choice, and the school is now oversubscribed.
New appointments are supported by a tailored coaching programme and all staff contribute to a collegiate coaching programme.
The successful candidates will be expected to:
• Teach PE across key stages 3 and 4
• Display and promote excellence in teaching and learning
• Inspire Pupils
• Have a commitment to raising achievement
