Main duties of the job Provide high-quality medical care during routine appointments, managing a wide range of conditions. Assess patients' health concerns, provide accurate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans. Prescribe medication, monitor prescriptions, and offer advice on medication use. Provide preventative care, including screenings and lifestyle advice to improve patient health. Take medical histories and perform physical examinations. About us Margaret Street Practice is a well-established and forward-thinking NHS GP practice located in the heart of Ammanford. We also have a branch surgery in the nearby village of Tycroes. Our patient list of 9500, with a controlled workload, highly organised practice with a well-staffed team of clinical and clerical staff, who hold weekly clinical meetings, and actively encourage the pursuit of specialist clinical interests.
