Main duties of the job
As an Assistant Recruitment Specialist, you will work closely with Trust managers, Recruitment Team Leads, Specialists, and Management to support the delivery of the recruitment plan. You will collaborate with the Recruitment team and the Deputy/Head of Resourcing to deliver the agreed workforce plan, ensuring a cost-effective service and compliance with employment legislation and Trust policies.
This role involves providing HR advice related to the recruitment and onboarding process and relevant employment law and legislation.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will manage local recruitment within designated geographical areas for the Trust, working with stakeholders to deliver recruitment plans that provide the workforce required by EEAST. This includes developing new staffing sources and managing attraction activities, including recruitment campaigns.
The post holder will lead on bulk recruitment for EOC, ensuring delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused recruitment and selection service in accordance with Trust policies and procedures, NHS Employers Standards, and employment legislation.
