Role based in the Logistics department of this progressive and fast-growing business with permanent roles arising in the Company. You will have gained strong experience in a similar role, possibly with a manufacturing or engineering business, and have a stable work history. Strong administration skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
1. Enter specific customer orders and forecasts.
2. Update the customer analysis spreadsheet for the specific customer schedules and present data to Material Planner for the purpose of updating flex into MRP.
3. Liaise with material planner or sales team on any queries regarding customer schedules, orders, and forecasts.
4. Process the booking in of Finished Goods into the company MRP system from the end of line sheets produced by each production line on a daily basis and forward copies to the relevant production personnel within the business.
5. Work closely with the Production Managers on any issues or queries from the end of line sheets to ensure product is booked in in a timely manner.
6. File all relevant documentation in a logical and accurate manner.
7. Provide support for the Material Controller & the wider Planning Team for admin-related tasks as necessary.
8. Perform general administrative duties and deal with various issues & queries.
9. Use an in-house system (Fourth Shift) and other Word/Excel related packages.
You must have several years of experience working in an office environment in a planning, logistics, or similar role. This is an office-based role.
Travel to work from: Tredegar, Merthyr, Pontypool, Ebbw Vale, Blackwood, Abergavenny.
