What you'll be doing:
An experienced Accountant is sought to work in the Finance Division to support the safe delivery of a corporate project. Critical to the role is the ability to identify and consider financial impacts of the core project objectives, ultimately working towards implementation of the project within our internal framework.
Who we're looking for:
A qualified project accountant who has experience within a large corporate finance function with a track record of delivering projects in large complex organisations. With a strong financial accountancy background, you will be motivated by the opportunity to join an established project team contributing to the successful delivery. Some of the primary responsibilities are detailed below:
1. Strong technical knowledge of Accounting standards in the UK and their application.
2. Communication with the Corporate Project team and outsource providers to ensure key deliveries for Finance are captured appropriately.
3. Responsibility for addressing key objectives and meeting the desired timeframes.
4. Ability to manage and own significant projects with tight deadlines and ensure delivery.
5. Risk management and controls procedures adoption.
6. Actioning in accordance with the Division's governance framework and ensuring approvals are sought where required, in line with these.
