Job overview
The Project Manager will manage specific projects as delegated across the organisation in collaboration with colleagues and partners. The post holder will be expected to lead, deliver and manage projects autonomously within the delegated parameters. Responsibilities include formulating, implementing and monitoring progress of the projects and supervising project staff.
Main duties of the job
1. Plan and organise a range of complex activities in support of service redesign, developing and monitoring detailed project plans with teams.
2. Develop governance arrangements for the project.
3. Identify risks and develop contingency plans as necessary.
4. Keep the Project Board informed of progress through the preparation of Highlight and End Stage Assessment Reports.
5. Ensure risks and issues are monitored and managed through the development of risk and issues logs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Person specification
Experience
* Project and/or Project management office qualification, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent experience.
* Experience of management and managing successful projects.
Skills
* Developing and monitoring complex project or project plans.
