Summary To perform activities related to the receiving, picking and loading of products to meet customer order requirements Conform to all applicable Standard Operating Procedures for operating practices. Attend regular communication/awareness sessions, either given by your line manager or via other presentations. Warehouse operators are required to complete tasks within the NDC Warehouse to fulfil the receipt and preparation of orders which are destined for customers / patients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receiving Area Receive and validate products related to all businesses, ensuring correct data entry and reconciliation of receipts. Assist with corrective action for any discrepancies. Replenish product to various picking location via the replenishment procedure. High Volume Area Perform activities to ensure the accurate dispatch of all high volume products to meet customer requirements. Complete picking processes to ensure data integrity. Perform order assembly ensuring product accuracy. Perform activities to ensure the accurate dispatch of all renal homecare products. Pick/Pack/Label products for renal homecare patient orders in compliance with standard procedures. High Value area Perform activities to ensure the accurate dispatch of all high value products. Locate replenishment products to this area via the replenishment procedure. Pick/Pack/Label products for home patients / cold chain orders in compliance with standard operating procedures. Loading specific suitable cold chain vehicles and order preparation for different delivery methods. Checking Perform an accuracy check of all assembled orders prior to loading. Validate TUIs (Transport Unique Identifier) against loading manifest. VAS (Value Added Service) check (paperwork compared to physical load). Loading Perform activities to ensure the accurate dispatch of all outbound products Drive creativity and change within the organisation All goods to be selected from the designated areas as per the load list and checked for correct quantities. Perform activities of off loading any Baxter assets e.g. empty pallets, consumables etc. and place in the designated area. Returns Process any returns which arrive back in the NDC in conjunction with the relevant SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Ensure compliance to MHRA (Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) legislation. JOB REQUIREMENTS Digital Literacy – Familiar and comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook Previous experience working in a warehouse environment Able to work in a GMP environment Quality-focused – able to deal with routine, repetitive tasks while maintaining good attention to detail Team Working - working as part of a team & sharing workload fairly with a willingness to work co-operatively and supportively to tackle problems and achieve team targets Where applicable hold a current MHE license necessary for the task.
