TSA Surveying Ltd is an independently owned company based in Leeds established in 2020 specialising in the supply of Building Surveying, Clerk of Works, M & E Surveying and Housing Surveying Resources throughout the UK.
Our recruitment activities involve the sourcing and provision of professional and technical contracts and permanent people to our clients who are leading consultants in the Property Asset Management sector.
Due to rapid and consistent growth and in response to the shifting market dynamic of demand for Clerk of Works, this new role has been developed to manage our emerging Clerk of Works sub consultant division and to facilitate our ambitious plans to become a market leader in this space.
Initially, this will be a hands-on role but will quickly develop into a management role which requires an ambitious, confident, tenacious, and commercially aware manager to deliver the plan with full support of the Directors.
Duties:
1. Client liaison - meetings, telephone, emails and documentation.
2. Business development - mapping out of prospective client contacts, attending client visits, calls and follow ups.
3. Identifying and engaging with frameworks to develop opportunities.
4. Receiving incoming client brief enquiries.
5. Preparation and issue of proposals and follow up.
6. Review and management of incoming client terms. Liaise with external legal provider where appropriate.
7. Generating and issuing contracts.
8. Regular tracking and aftercare of ongoing client instructions.
9. Proactive engagement with existing and prospect clients to understand pipeline and potential of work - mailshots, CV's, phone, Teams, face to face - supported by MW.
10. Onboarding of new clients and issuing new customer forms.
11. Management of Quality Control Inbox.
12. General associated administration.
13. Recruitment, training and management of a developing team.
14. Clerk of Works liaison - meetings, telephone, emails and documentation.
15. Proactive networking of existing Clerk of Works network establishing current role, project, employer, rate, availability.
16. Proactive development of network of Clerk of Works by utilizing adverts, CV Library, LinkedIn, Sourcewhale, Totaljobs, Idibu and referrals.
17. Conducting interviews and obtaining references.
18. CV preparation and updating.
19. Issuing project details to Clerk of Works network and securing their services including negotiation of rates.
20. Requests for information and compliance - obtaining eligibility to work, qualifications, insurances, bank details, etc.
21. Accurate filing of the above.
22. Issue of contractual documentation.
23. Tracking and aftercare of ongoing instructions.
24. Management of Quality Control Inbox.
25. General associated administration.
26. Building good relationships with Recruitment team, sharing and acting upon market intel. In particular supporting the permanent Clerk of Works desk.
27. Building good relationships with Finance and Administration team always striving for processing efficiencies.
28. Potential for PA support to MW including arranging meetings and diary management.
29. Marketing - constant involvement as business develops. Commencing supporting on development of brand, website, marketing material, social media. Engagement of external marketing provider where appropriate.
30. Liaison with Legal professionals.
31. Maintaining insurances - regular liaison with insurers.
32. Contribute to long term initiative to being well connected in The Institute of Clerk of Works and other relevant professional bodies.
33. Additional tasks as required in conjunction with the development of the division.
