An exciting opportunity has become available for a Management Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Area Financial Controller, your role will be responsible for daily and monthly management reporting functions across multiple hotels. You will operate as a hands-on key member of the team, gaining exposure to the accounting function whilst building on an exciting career within one of the world's most innovative and guest-centric hospitality leaders.
Getting to know the role and your responsibilities
1. Support the finance team to meet financial reporting obligations on a monthly and annual basis.
2. Analysing monthly performance and highlight areas of improvement in Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
3. Monitoring and supporting the achievement of key business drivers related to income and expenses.
4. Assist with the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process and modelling to support strategic decision making.
5. Deliver timely and accurate financial and operational information to management teams.
6. Discuss actionable intelligence and rationalisation ideas with relevant managers.
7. Liaising and assisting teams in the implementation of improvement measures.
8. Collaborating with the Corporate Head Office and Regional Finance team.
What we will need from you:
1. Relevant tertiary qualification.
2. Currently pursuing a CA/CPA would be advantageous.
3. Multiple years of experience in a similar role.
4. Strong analytical and numerical skills, possessing a high attention to detail.
5. Proven organisational and communication skills.
6. Ability to effectively time manage and maintain deadlines.
7. Proficient in Excel.
8. Flexibility with working hours to meet business needs (weekend work is required).
