About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our specialist mental health and addiction service, supported by a Deputy Manager, team leaders and support workers. You'll be responsible for delivering outstanding, compliant care and creating a positive culture that empowers both staff and residents.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a confident and compassionate leader with:
1. Essential experience in managing services that support individuals with mental health needs
2. A solid understanding of dual diagnosis, including substance misuse and co-existing mental health conditions
3. Proven success in managing CQC-regulated adult social care services
4. The ability to build positive relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and referral partners
5. A strong focus on compliance, safeguarding, and quality assurance
6. Inspirational leadership qualities with the ability to coach and mentor teams
7. A passion for developing services and improving lives
Essential Skills & Qualifications
8. NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
9. Experience managing a mental health service
10. Current or recent CQC Registered Manager status
11. Experience working with individuals with dual diagnosis or complex needs
12. Strong working knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and inspection readiness
13. Confidence in leading multi-agency meetings and professional networks
14. Experience in developing or expanding care services
15. Experience in maintaining strong referral pathways with local authorities
16. Financial and operational acumen
17. Strong IT and digital care systems skills
