As Deputy Director of Fundraising, Strategy and Brand, you will:

Strategic Leadership & Legacy Fundraising – Develop and lead PDSA’s fundraising vision, with a strong focus on legacy giving as the organisation’s largest income stream, ensuring sustainable future income.

Philanthropy & Corporate Partnerships – Build and grow relationships with philanthropic donors and corporate partners to secure long-term, high-value income streams.

Brand Development & Audience Engagement – Strengthen PDSA’s brand positioning, ensuring alignment with audience insights to create impactful fundraising and engagement strategies.

Data-Driven Decision-Making & Innovation – Foster a culture that utilises audience insights to inform strategic decisions, developing innovative fundraising propositions that resonate emotionally and logically with supporters.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Organisational Alignment – Work closely with senior leadership, marketing, and fundraising teams to integrate legacy, fundraising, and brand initiatives into the wider organisational strategy.

Financial & Regulatory Oversight – Ensure the effective management of a £4m budget, drive surplus income across fundraising streams, and maintain compliance with all regulatory fundraising and brand management requirements.
We’re seeking someone with:

Senior Fundraising & Strategic Leadership Experience – Extensive experience in leading fundraising strategies, with a track record of increasing income through legacy, philanthropy, and partnerships.

Legacy Fundraising Expertise – Proven ability to develop and implement high-performing legacy strategies, ensuring a robust future income pipeline.

Data-Driven Audience Engagement – Strong analytical skills to leverage audience insights and market trends, creating compelling propositions that drive donor engagement and brand growth.

Corporate & Philanthropic Fundraising Experience – Expertise in securing and managing high-value relationships with corporate and charitable partners to drive income.

Exceptional Communication & Brand Management – Extensive experience in shaping brand voice, managing public perception, and delivering impactful messaging to supporters.

Financial & Performance Management – Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and performance reporting to drive surplus and income growth.
