Main duties of the job
We would aim to build an ideal level of supervision and training around the successful candidates depending on seniority and experience. The candidate could pass through a variety of useful specialties heading towards subsequent CCT application. The post would also include responsibilities aimed at management experience including rota coordination, quality improvement projects and teaching.
This is a popular and friendly training unit with specialty trainees from the Oxford and London deaneries. The successful candidate would have options of moving through attachments in a variety of subspecialty fields within the department.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Essential criteria
10. MRCS or equivalent
11. MBBS or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Essential criteria
12. 4 years full time postgraduate training (or equivalent gained on a part time or flexible basis) ideally 2 of which need to be in plastic surgery
13. Ideally had some time working at plastic surgery registrar level
14. Ability to work comfortably at the level of a specialty trainee year 3 including logbook evidence
