About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Psychology lessons at A-Level, covering core areas such as cognitive psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, biological psychology, and research methods. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that incorporate case studies, research activities, ethical debates, and critical analysis of psychological theories and studies. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, research reports, and examinations, providing detailed and constructive feedback to support their academic development in psychology. Organize and facilitate psychology-related discussions, debates, and potentially visits or guest speakers to enrich students' learning experiences. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Psychology or a closely related field. Experience teaching A-Level Psychology, with a good understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements. A strong understanding of psychological research methods, ethical considerations, and the ability to critically evaluate psychological theories. Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students in the study of psychology. A passion for psychology and a commitment to fostering students' understanding of themselves and the world around them.
