Air Liquide Biogas Solutions, employing over 200 people, is dedicated to producing biomethane, with a circular economy approach, for industry and transportation. Leveraging core Air Liquide technologies, the Group has developed competencies throughout the whole biomethane value chain, starting with biogas production from waste, to its purification into biomethane, liquefaction, storage, transportation to distribution. As part of the circular economy approach, Air Liquide also valorizes digestate as fertiliser and produces biogenic CO2. With roughly 70 employees, Air Liquide Biogas Solutions UK operates in England and Scotland with the main office in Birmingham. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Engineer to join our UK Biogas team on a permanent basis in the Northern England remit. Ideally based around Warrington, Skelmersdale, Wakefield or Rochdale. In your role you will be responsible for the performance of field operation & maintenance duties for several assets/facilities & plants within your area. You will act as a technical and local point of contact with gas suppliers and/or customers. Whilst following and enforcing the Security procedures within the framework of regulatory requirements you ensure with the help and monitoring of competent people, the maintenance in good general condition of the installations. How you will make an impact: Operating and maintaining sites/ equipment ensuring safe and reliable operation Supporting contractors on site to deliver interventions safely with the use of permits and LOTO procedures Apply regulatory safety rules to all responsible sites Alerting and raising awareness of unsafe situation Supporting root cause analysis of safety incidents Reviewing RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statement) reviews Managing and Coordinating site emergency procedures (including Waste paperwork & COSHH documentation) Writing and checking Standard Operating Procedure for Works & Review Risk Assessment & Method Statement creation Maintaining the history of interventions carried out on the installations writing exhaustive reports Managing the updating of the documentation "As built" of the equipment and the installation according to the MOCs issued. Carrying out routine checks Managing on site part usage and stock control Are you a MATCH?
