Job summary There has never been a more exciting time to work in primary care, and BWM Primary Care Network (PCN) is expanding its Clinical Team. We are seeking to recruit a positive, caring and self-motivated individual to take on the role and work across our three Practices. Following the announcement of the new ARRS GP role available to PCN's, BWM PCN are looking for an enthusiastic, newly qualified GP to join our team on a fixed term basis of 12 months. The role will be part of the PCN ARRS and may have the potential to be extended beyond 12 months however this is subject to NHS funding and guidance. The role will predominantly be based across our three Practices. Main duties of the job Provide face to face and telephone consultations for routine and urgent care. Conduct Care Homes and patient home visits. Manage patient care within the Practices, including investigating and reviewing results, developing care plans and making the necessary referrals. Issue and sign repeat prescriptions, adhering to national and local guidelines. Administer and manage patient queries, test results, referral letters and any other duties as required in a timely manner. Make clear consultation notes and records using System1. Independently prescribe medications within your scope of practice.
