We are currently seeking a Night Support Worker to join our Women’s Residential Treatment Centre.
This is a vital role providing overnight support, ensuring the security and well-being of our service users, and offering a calm and reassuring presence during critical hours.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the safety of all service users throughout the night
2. Conduct regular site checks and monitor CCTV for security
3. Provide emotional support and assist with any arising needs
4. Record and report incidents accurately, completing end-of-shift handovers
5. Support residents with developing life skills and accessing services
6. Liaise with on-call management and external services when needed
7. Carry out administrative duties including risk assessments, updates to case management systems, and incident documentation
Person Specification:
1. We’re seeking individuals who are empathetic, reliable, and committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable women.
2. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care, Advice and Guidance
3. Experience in a structured care setting (e.g. hostel, residential, mental health)
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills
5. Understanding of safeguarding, risk, and crisis response
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively
7. Experience supporting individuals with addictions or complex needs
8. Training in therapeutic approaches (e.g. Motivational Interviewing)
9. IT and case management system proficiency
