You will be joining a thriving psychology department working within a successful social sciences faculty which includes psychology, sociology, politics, economics, and business. We value collaboration to ensure there is a vibrant learning and teaching experience for all with opportunities to get involved with various super-curricular activities including visiting speakers, trips, external lectures, presentations, running clubs and EPQ. The department also supports our students in securing work-related experience for example, regular work in local primary schools and working with sports psychologists at Millwall FC.
We offer A Level Psychology in the Sixth Form which is oversubscribed. Our results are testament to our diligent and hardworking students and staff, and in 2024, 71% achieved grades A*-B in A Level Psychology, which is reflective of our determination to continuously research high standards.
Approximately a quarter of students that study A Level psychology go on to study psychology or psychology-related courses at university. In recent years the department has prepared students with applications to Cambridge and courses at Loughborough, Exeter, and University College London.
