Shift Pattern: 4 x days 06:00-18:00 / 3 x rest days / 4 x nights 18:00-06:00 / 5 x rest days Duties and Tasks for the Shift Engineer: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on machinery, robotic systems, and conveyors. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and automated systems. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain records of maintenance activities and manage spare parts inventory. Train production staff on machinery operation and maintenance. The Shift Engineer Qualified Electrical Engineer (minimum 2 years) Minimum 2 years' experience of working within the Food & Drink sector Candidate should be electrically biased but skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems Experience of fault finding with industrial machinery Experience of interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings Experience of shift working Served a full engineering apprenticeship and/or qualification of NVQ level 3 or equivalent Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Quarterly Bonus
