* Provide a proactive and professional welcome to the Ward reception, acting as the public face for the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
* Deliver an efficient administrative and clerical service to the Ward Team.
* Maintain effective communication to both patients, relatives and staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the ward; enhancing patient care.
* Ensure all information is secure and confidentiality of information is maintained at all times.

Job responsibilities

The available role is for a weekend ward clerk on Abbey Ward, our emergency surgical assessment and triage unit, specialising in the care and assessment of people with surgical emergency conditions.
Ideally, you would have a background in customer service and/or administration, but more importantly, we are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, dedicated and who wish to make a difference.
Working Pattern: 15 hours per week, Saturday & Sunday 08:00-16:00
