Through our Development area of work, you will manage our Employability and Gender Equality focus areas, supporting these areas of work to develop both operationally and strategically. As well as planning and coordinating our Volunteering programme, alongside our Training and Learning offer for our staff. The aim of our Gender Equality work is to challenge discriminatory behaviour towards women and girls in our city, whilst also shaping leadership potential and creating opportunities to level the playing field. The aim of our Employability work is to boost skill sets and bolster confidence in those furthest from the job market, helping them to step into and thrive in sustainable employment. What is the role? You will lead the development and operations of Saints Foundation’s Gender Equality and Employability Pillar of work, ensuring all project delivery is outcome focussed and driven by the needs of the participant. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are meeting expected outcomes and delivered to the highest standard while following a robust Quality Assurance process. You will be responsible for developing new work and connecting with community stakeholders to ensure Saints Foundation can deliver its strategic plan. You will provide effective leadership to your Coordinators to ensure they are fully equipped to deliver their work. You will also be responsible for the planning and coordination of a programme of training & learning for all Saints Foundation staff, working closely with the management group to ensure this is needs led and timely. Whilst developing and implementing a Volunteering programme. What will you be doing? You will be overseeing the coordination and delivery of all projects in the development area, while seeking new opportunities to develop our Gender Equality and Employability Pillars. You will be planning and coordinating a successful training programme for all Saints Foundation staff and an engaging volunteering programme which reflects the values of the foundation. Ensuring all projects are delivered within the prescribed budge you will monitor programme spend, keeping records up to date in accordance with both the charity and funders requirements. You will be working closely with vulnerable adults and children, ensuring that you keep an appropriate and professional demeanour and regularly reviewing best practice while working with at risk groups. Is this you? You are experienced in delivering successful community-based projects and have an understanding of social issues. You are able to get the best from people and have experience in managing a team though practical and detailed guidance in order to drive performance. With the ability to prioritise and balance a range of projects you will successfully manage a varied workload ensuring key tasks are complete in accordance with work plans.
