The opportunity
Our client is an industry leading organisation, helping to take the UK's nuclear infrastructure into the next generation. From decommissioning projects at Sellafield, to Defence, New Build at Hinkley Point C and even the cutting edge Small Modular Reactors, they offer the ability to work on a wide range of projects, ensuring that this is not your average job.

Estimated Salary Range
£60,000 - £75,000
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
1. Manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities.
2. Lead in the effective management of the customer through client meetings and calls.
3. Ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
4. Ensure that adequate review, verification and approval is undertaken on all deliverables and for those under direct control and supervision.
5. Provide a technical interface with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Lead technical investigations and analysis to provide data for problem assessment/resolution and for design of improvements.
7. Contribute to process improvement within the operational and/or design lifecycle.
8. Apply engineering domain knowledge to produce technical solutions and documentation.
9. Produce, review, verify outputs including: calculations, analyses, technical reports, technical specifications and method statements.
10. Ensure appropriate review, verification and approval is undertaken on work performed.
11. Plan, deliver and monitor assigned tasks and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time.
12. Provide support to the Project Manager for the planning, control and delivery of tasks and projects.
13. Make engineering decisions within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority.
14. Act as Technical Authority or Engineering Lead when authorised to do so.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with demonstrable experience.
Experience in working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types.
It's great if you also have the following:
* Demonstrable experience in covering a variety of tasks.
* Chartered Status.
* Communication skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.
