Join a leading education organisation based in Suffolk as a 1st / 2nd Line Support Technician. This is your chance to provide top-tier IT support to schools, ensuring seamless technology operations and contributing to a thriving educational environment.
A company vehicle is provided due to the travel required – a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Respond to, solve, and escalate tickets via the central ICT Helpdesk system.
2. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues both remotely and in person.
3. Configure and install workstations and perform regular maintenance checks.
4. Maintain and adjust in-class audio/visual equipment.
5. Support printers and photocopiers, liaising with third-party support companies.
6. Replace and reorder hardware and consumables as needed.
7. Handle day-to-day user requests for password changes and account resets.
Experience:
8. Experience with IT systems, including Microsoft Windows 11, Office, Windows Server, and network environments.
9. Proficient in software and hardware installation.
10. Prior experience in an education environment is preferred.
