Person specification
Qualifications and/or Knowledge
* Registered Nurse first Level
* Evidence of study at post graduate level
* Evidence of a post graduate diploma in a relevant nursing/health subject
* Evidence of continual professional development and revalidation and understanding of key guidance and principles surrounding patient care.
* Degree in Nursing
* Surgical or orthopedic relevant courses
* Leadership qualification or willing to work towards
* Contact centre or Call handling experience
* Teaching/facilitation experience.
Aptitude and abilities
* Ability to support/supervise and assess and act as a role model.
* Willing to engage with and learn from peers, other professionals and colleagues in the desire to provide or support the most appropriate interventions.
* Ability to build positive and appropriate working relationships with all members of the multidisciplinary team and maintain a high level of confidentiality and trust.
* Ability to organise and prioritise own delegated workload.
* Ability to deal with unpredictable nature of workload, strong sense of commitment to openness and integrity.
* Ability to take part in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities.
Experience
* Evidence of delivering supervision of staff.
* Evidence of mentorship, preceptorship of nurses/student nurses.

* Evidence of providing and receiving complex and sensitive information.
* Ability to promote, educate and be passionate about the wellbeing of others.
* Working and supporting the development of new initiatives.
* Experience of leading, developing and motivating others.
