You will join the well-established Community Resource Team/Home First Service, working across the Swansea Locality. This is a permanent, part time (18.75 hours per week) post and you will be based in Gorseinon Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The post would be suitable for a highly motivated Dietitian with wide experience at Band 5 level who wants to gain experience working as part of multi-disciplinary teams. The post will allow you to develop your skills in the management of adults with a range of nutritional needs. You will receive support and mentoring from a senior dietetic lead.
You will support the supervision of dietetic assistants, dietetic assistant practitioners and pre-registration student dietitians.
We offer both departmental and personal CPD time to support your development and are committed to the development of evidenced based practice, research and clinical audit. You will be supported in attending relevant professional networking meetings and interest groups.

Qualifications
* B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
* HCPC Registered.
* Post registration training in relevant area.
* Student clinical educators course
Knowledge
* Evidence of a wide variety of clinical knowledge at band 5 level
* Documented evidence of CPD
Experience
* Experience of service delivery in a variety of different clinical settings since HCPC registration.
* Experience of working with patients with diverse healthcare needs
* Student training experience
* Experience of supervising/ mentoring staff
Aptitude and abilities
* Effective communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds
* Ability to work effectively single handedly with individuals
* Evaluation and audit skills
* Able to respond to unpredictable work patterns and frequent interruptions, prioritising workload in accordance with patient and service need

* Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.
