Seeking SEN Teaching Assistants for mainstream Primary Schools across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast!
The positions available include full-time, part-time, and supply work that can be tailored to fit your availability and dependent on school requirements. The rates are competitive (Between £13.50 - £14.50 per hour) and the hours are flexible to suit you.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with students from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 2 (KS2), providing support on a 1:1 basis with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other SEN requirements.
Job Duties:
Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Support students with learning difficulties or disabilities
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to meet students' needs
Required Qualifications:
GCSE qualifications
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Experience working with children or young people
Understanding of Special Educational Needs
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training or qualifications in SEN support
Experience in a similar role within an educational setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
