Responsibilities:
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:
1. New Business Income through new client acquisition, primarily from converting leads provided by the Company but also from self-generated new business opportunities.
2. Customer satisfaction, as measured by internal customer satisfaction surveys and Investors in Customers surveys (or equivalent external measures).
3. Relationship Management with the Company’s lead generation and customer service teams, and account management personnel within insurers and other providers.
4. Effectively negotiating premiums with the holding insurer and alternative insurers to obtain good value outcomes for customers in line with their requirements.
Essential Criteria:
5. Experience within the Financial Services market is essential, with Protection experience also essential.
6. Experience in successfully converting potential customer enquiries essential.
7. Experience in relationship building with Insurers/Providers, Clients and Account Managers.
8. Experienced in using Microsoft Office Programs.
9. Minimum of Cert CII or willingness to study towards qualification.
10. Experience in Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics.
11. A proven ability to negotiate successfully on behalf of customers to deliver targets.
12. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
13. Well organised and able to respond well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
14. Working well as part of a team as well as being able to work for periods using own initiative.
15. Copes well with change, internally within the business and externally within the market.
