Job Advert: Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools in Bournemouth Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a difference in their educational journey? GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and work across primary schools in Bournemouth. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting teachers and supporting students in a variety of classrooms. You’ll have the opportunity to work across different schools on a supply basis, with the potential for longer-term or permanent positions for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers in the delivery of engaging and effective lessons. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help. Help with the preparation of classroom materials and resources. Support students’ social and emotional development. Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. What We’re Looking For: A passion for working with children and supporting their educational development. Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff. A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work across different schools and year groups. An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
