A highly regarded Northwest-based consultancy, specialising in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Construction Health and Safety Consultant to join their expert team. With a strong reputation built on referrals and long-term client relationships, this organisation prides itself on delivering tailored health and safety solutions to designers, developers, contractors, and property owners. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to take a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, design safety, and excellence in client service.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading the design process and ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
2. Providing expert advice on health and safety risks during project design and construction phases.
3. Managing pre-construction information, health and safety files, and Construction Phase Plans.
4. Conducting site inspections and offering ongoing health and safety support to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Ideally a Diploma/Degree in Health & Safety or a related field, with Cert/GradIOSH status (working towards CMIOSH).
2. Proven consultancy experience in construction-related health and safety and CDM functions.
3. Technical qualifications in architecture, construction, or engineering (preferred).
4. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
5. A valid driving licence and flexibility to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
