Customer Development Specialist & Showroom Manager

The Role:
A dual role responsible for prospecting, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities in tandem with Account Managers. Also act as a company ambassador to create an exciting and innovative showroom space in line with the company brand, creating a positive and memorable experience for customers and internal colleagues.
Customer Development duties:
* S upporting field-based Account Managers in meeting or exceeding their annual sales quota by assisting with project sales development and helping to identify key customer decision makers.
* Establishing rapport and product confidence with Architect, End User and contractor customers via the telephone, email and face-to-face .
* Managing a portfolio of customers, both existing and new (including re-engaging with declining or lapsed accounts) through relationship building you will identify their needs and promote Interface products and solutions to drive growth.
* Generating leads and scheduling sales appointments for Account Managers
* Conducting ongoing research of relevant and viable projects from various sources, i.e. project information leads, trade magazines, sending and following up sample orders, etc. Pre-qualifying applicable leads for entry into sales funnel
* Maintain CRM to ensure all records for assigned accounts are accurate and informative with relevant contact information included.
* Co-ordinate & execute weekly telephone calls with Account Managers to prioritise weekly activities, discuss opportunities identified from research to determine which projects need to be developed into sales funnel.
Showroom responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for establishing a customer focused showroom environment that is welcoming, informative, and creative and ensures visitors leave feeling inspired by our product range.
* Deal with all customer drop-ins and pre-planned meetings to support the sales team.
* Maintain positive feel-good relationships where you can anticipate customer needs acting as a product and brand ambassador to support our aim to be the number one choice for commercial flooring in Ireland.
* Support the sales and marketing teams to host and co-ordinate showroom events, meetings, and customer walk-ins, providing a high-quality front and back of house service for clients and internal colleagues.
* Day to day management of the samples stock room, ensuring it is kept well stocked, tidy, and ensuring samples are sent out in a timely fashi
The Person:
* Experience of working within CRM preferably Salesforce
* Passionate about developing sales and customer relationships through the promotion of products and services.
* A service mind-set with a willingness and ability to multi-task in a hybrid role
* Excellent organisational skills ability to prioritise.
* Resilient under pressure
* Ability to host and organise customer events.
