We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our UK Finance team, working closely with our IT department and wider business stakeholders. In this role, you will act as a bridge between finance and technology, providing valuable financial insights, guidance, and support to ensure that IT investments align with business objectives. You will partner with key stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, deliver on budgeting and forecasting, and optimise financial performance within the IT function.
Main Duties
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for IT spend
* Provide insights and recommendations on cost management and optimisation
* Oversee monthly accounting processes
* Support the improvement of existing control and accounting processes
* Present reporting and information to stakeholders across Finance and IT
* Lead and line manage a small team, working cross-functionally as part of a larger team
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with 2 years+ post-qualified experience
* Have some experience of business partnering
* Have good communication and stakeholder management skills
* Have strong task management skills including the ability to balance both project and ad-hoc work with regular responsibilities
* Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Be self-motivated, proactive with a can-do attitude towards work
* Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Location
This is a hybrid working role that requires the successful candidate to attend our Cardiff office 2-3 times per week.
