Health and Safety Advisor - Swindon

What would I do as a Health & Safety Advisor at Stallard Kane?
Spending approximately 4 days of the week travelling across your region, you will be visiting clients across a wide range of different industries providing them with support by carrying out site inspections, full Health & Safety management system audits, risk assessments, method statements along with the implementation of various policies and procedures. Giving as much support as possible by building long term, trusted relationships with clients quickly.
As a busy consultancy, it goes without saying that things are very fast paced here and that there will be additional responsibilities to support the wider team including accident investigations, site inspections, development of safety critical documents, construction phase plans and various other safety documents.
What you’ll need?
We’re a friendly supporting team and are looking for an individual who genuinely loves meeting business owners and helping them manage Health & Safety within their organisation, always with a common-sense approach. You’ll be able to build relationships quickly, listening to the business owner’s needs and helping them to move past whatever issues they have, before providing practical solutions.
You must have Health & safety experience and hold as a minimum NEBOSH General Certificate. You will also have a full UK driving licence and be happy to stay away from home overnight as required (all related expenses paid!)
Experience in health and safety on construction sites, construction health and safety qualifications such as NEBOSH Construction or equivalent will be advantageous.
IEMA qualification and experienced Lead Auditor.
You also need to be driven, take pride in your work and have customer service at the forefront of everything you do. In this role, it does without saying that you need to have an eye for detail and be meticulous in your approach to documentation for clients.
