Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Management Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
Duties
1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
2. Cashflow Forecasting.
3. Bank Reconciliations.
4. Costing analysis.
5. Oversee accounts payable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
6. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
7. Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support budgeting processes.
8. Utilise accounting software Sage intact for efficient financial management.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
10. Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and liaise with external auditors as required.
11. Many other operational and strategic accounting functions.
Skills
1. Proficiency in accounting software.
2. Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
3. Experience in manufacturing accounting is advantageous.
4. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
5. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial accounting standards.
7. Strong Excel knowledge.
