Working Hours Tuesday – Saturday 06:00 – 15:00 About the role: As Despatch Operative you’ll mainly be working with frozen products, helping to pick, store, load and unload deliveries using a reach truck. So, you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical. Some of the Key responsibilities will include: Picking, storing and documenting products. Quality checking, wrapping and palletising products. Stacking frozen and chilled products. Loading and unloading trailers. Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg What you’ll need to be successful: Current reach licence or ability to prove competency. Good level of English and basic numeracy skills The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided Who are we, and what do we do?
