About me:
I am a 15-year-old girl who lives with my mum, dad, brother and sister. I enjoy listening to music, sensory activities and going out in my wheelchair. I am a very relaxed and calm person.
I am fully dependent on my carers for all of my needs. I have daily seizures and am PEG fed.
I am looking for a kind, caring, trustworthy and reliable personal assistant who is comfortable to look after me and help with my personal care needs when my mum is not around.
I also have my own vehicle to use so a full clean UK driving license would be great but not essential.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Some main duties of the role will include talking to me and supporting me with personal care such as helping me to use the toilet, bathing and dressing me.
The role will also consist of supporting with activities both inside and outside of my home as well as making and setting up my feed.
Hoisting is also a responsibility of the personal assistant.
Experience or training is not essential for my care needs, as full training is available.
Desirable (not essential) Criteria:
· A full, clean UK Driving License, due to having my own vehicle to use.
· Experience with children.
Summary terms and conditions
· £15.95 per hour
· *30 hours per week – Ideally this would be 15 hours split between 2 employees
· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work normally done during 5.6 weeks (statutory entitlement).
