Afternoon HLTA at a School in Colne Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Afternoon Hours Only Location: Colne Contract: Part-Time (Afternoon shifts) Start Date: January 2025 Year group : Year 3 Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives and helping them reach their full potential?, a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Colne, is looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team for afternoon sessions only. In this role, you will support classroom learning in the afternoons, assisting with lesson delivery and providing tailored support for students. You will work closely with teaching staff to implement plans for students with additional needs, lead small group activities, and offer one-to-one support as required. Additionally, you will contribute to the monitoring and assessment of students' progress and assist in maintaining a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. To be considered for this role, you must hold an HLTA qualification or equivalent and have experience working with children in a school environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and use your initiative. A passion for helping children succeed academically and socially is key.
