Job Description
Helpdesk Technician required. Our client is a well-established firm who have been helping businesses across the UK to build & maintain hyper-efficient IT networks for over 27 years. They are now seeking a motivated individual to join their Helpdesk Team to work alongside other team members who together are responsible for being at the sharp end of support. This role is based in Southwick, West Sussex.
Position Overview
1. Being the first point of contact and dealing with IT-related incidents
2. Logging incidents via an advanced automated ticketing system
3. Carrying out repairs/fixes and escalate where necessary
4. Being able to work shifts based on a rota, between 7:30 & 9:30 starts
5. Working with Windows and Microsoft Servers
6. Travelling to customer sites when required
Position Requirements
7. Full UK Driving License
8. Previously worked for a computer Managed Server Provider
9. A basic understanding of IT & IT Terminology, including Window Servers and Workstation products
10. Excellent telephone manner is required alongside friendly customer service skills
11. Confident working in a busy often hectic environment
12. Willing to be flexible with working arrangements
Position Remuneration
13. Salary £22,000 – 28,000 DOE
14. Monday to Friday
15. 25 days holiday + bank holidays
