Job Description:
The firm is seeking an Employment Lawyer with over 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their Employment team. The successful candidate will handle complex employment law matters, advising both local and international clients across a wide range of industries.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
* Providing strategic employment law advice, including on complex tribunal claims, cross-border issues, and senior executive matters
* Advising clients on M&A transactions, outsourcing, and restructuring processes
* Handling high-level grievances, discrimination cases, whistleblowing claims, and other executive-level employment matters
* Collaborating with international teams on global projects, including cross-border consultations and executive compensation
* Engaging with clients on gender pay gap audits, reward philosophy projects, and large-scale change management initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a diverse caseload of employment law matters efficiently
* Deliver innovative, commercial legal solutions that help clients meet their strategic objectives
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted business partner
* Work closely with international colleagues to deliver cross-border employment law solutions
* Contribute to the firm's business development efforts by participating in multi-disciplinary and cross-office initiatives
Requirements:
* Qualified solicitor with over 3 years PQE in employment law, preferably in a commercial practice
* Strong technical and market knowledge, particularly in tribunal claims, strategic advice, and cross-border issues
* Experience in senior executive employment law matters, including termination and compensation
* Dual qualification in Northern Ireland and either England & Wales or the Republic of Ireland (advantageous)
* Excellent communication skills, with a commercial mindset and a strong team ethic
