Lead / Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading manufacturer in Leeds that is looking for an experienced Mechanically Biased Lead/Commissioning Engineer to join their business.
Days only
Salary – Up to £45,000
The Lead/Commissioning Engineer will carry out commissioning on installs on and off-site, carry out routine/preventative and reactive maintenance and respond to plant breakdowns.
Duties of the Commissioning Engineer will include:
* Ensure commissioning records and results are kept up to date;
* Ensure defects are categorised & attended to
* Use engineering machines to remanufacture parts
* Ensuring continuous improvement across the business
* Accurate reporting of mechanical breakdowns and spares used
* Carry out daily/weekly/monthly PM’s, reducing downtime
* Improve efficiency on existing machines
We are keen to speak with Lead/Commissioning Engineers with the following;
* City & Guilds trained/qualified mechanical
* Apprentice-trained or time-served
* Experience with the implementation of FAT and SAT’s
* Able to read electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic technical drawings
* Computer skills for recording/production of data
* PLC would be desirable but not essential
This role would suit someone who has an enthusiastic and flexible approach, can work independently and can self-manage your time during the working day.
