Experienced Care Assistant to support a 40-year-old woman with complex needs in her home in Plymouth. Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced Care Assistant for a 40-year-old woman in Plymouth. She lives with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, chronic pain and is non-weight-bearing. She has a catheter and PEG. Supporting her will include medication administration along with her general well-being and independence. She lives with her fiancé and dog and is looking for someone who can balance professional care with a friendly and supportive approach. She values her independence and thrives when supported with dignity and respect. You’ll provide 1:1 care with additional 2:1 support for manual handling during specific times. Shift Details: 08:00-21:00 Monday to Sunday 20:00-09:00 Monday to Sunday This includes Manual Handling (2:1): for the one hour cross-over in the morning and evening. Note: it would be great if you were flexible enough to do days and nights, but we recognise that doesn't suit everyone. Please contact us if you're interested in Days and/or Nights. You'll be an experienced care assistant and competent with moving and handling and medication. Experience with cerebral palsy and epilepsy would be useful but not essential as full training provided.
