Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Coleshill Birmingham B36 1DA
Permanent - average 40 hrs per week
Shift Pattern: Monday and Tuesday 1600-0100, Wednesday 1600-12:30, Thursday 1600-23:30, Friday 1600-10:30, 1 in 2 Sundays am
Salary: £31,054.40 per annum plus a regional supplement of £395.20 per annum
We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Lead or Supervisor to join our Birmingham Depot. In this role, you will be important in ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and that we exceed our customers’ expectations.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive depot KPIs in quality and productivity while ensuring discipline, cleanliness, and optimal staffing for maximum efficiency.
2. Oversee accurate order picking, stock rotation (FEFO), and secure handling of products, including credit returns and controlled drugs.
3. Maintain compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
4. Support the induction and ongoing training of warehouse employees, ensuring they are multi-skilled and equipped to meet operational demands.
In this role, you will be required to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift products up to 15kg, bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.
Requirements:
1. Proven warehouse experience
2. An understanding of laws and regulations relating to Health & Safety
3. Leadership qualities
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Well organized
6. Desirable qualifications: IOSH, First Aid, and Fire Marshall
