We are currently looking for a: Water Country Marketing Manager
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Marketing Manager will work with the Palace Entertainment & Parques Reunidos Customer Teams to develop and execute high-performance marketing, communications and sales plans to attract customers, sustain an extraordinary public image, and delight park visitors with fresh and innovative experiences. A primary focus of this role is growing park attendance and ticketing revenue. This role will also focus on implementing innovative strategies and finding creative new ways to appeal to new and existing customers.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, customer service oriented strategic thinker that is tech savvy with excellent writing and speaking skills, as well as the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Manage all aspects of marketing, communications and sales efforts including annual marketing, communications and sales strategic plans to drive attendance and ticket revenue
* Implement group ticket sales and outreach strategies across online, 3rd party reseller and B2B group sales channels
* Develop CRM initiatives to optimize customer interactions, enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth using customer data analysis, segmentation and personalized marketing campaigns
* Oversee the creation of digital media briefs and email content, including design, copywriting, and A/B testing to improve conversion rates and return on ad spend
* Manage all park social media accounts, create and post content and reply to comments and inquiries
* Collaborate with the corporate director of communications to execute public relations and storytelling initiatives to generate earned media
* Serve as the park’s primary spokesperson and media point-of-contact
* Ensure that the park’s brand position is properly executed across all channels including creative, internal and external communications
* Deliver weekly and monthly reports on business performance, as well as attendance and revenue forecasts using data-driven insight, market/consumer behaviors, economic and tourism trends and competitive analysis
* Prepare and manage the marketing department’s annual operating expense and media budget including the creation of purchase orders and vendor agreements
* Plan and execute ticket promotions, in-park activations, special events and in-park entertainment to drive attendance and enhance guest experience
* Maintain and regularly update website content and e-commerce platform; reviewing for accuracy and optimization
* Hire, support, train and supervise seasonal marketing team members and interns
* Perform other related duties as required or assigned by the General Manager, Regional Marketing & Sales Director, and park support center
* Serve as the park's representative and engage in area business and tourism organizations
Requirements Skills:
* Communication: Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively with a wide range of diverse personnel
* Leadership: Inspire others to achieve results, establish credibility throughout the organization and maintain a visible leadership role in appropriate industry, community and business organizations as necessary
* Problem Solving/Analysis: Define problems, research and collect data, draw valid conclusions and execute remedial strategies in a timely manner
* Project Management: Understand and manage projects from concept to completion. Develop and achieve strategic objectives, plans and time schedules; organize and manage competing priorities, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to detail
* Executive Presence: Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliates
* Flexibility: Handle multiple priorities simultaneously; maintain a flexible work schedule to meet changing demands for multiple concurrent projects
* Computer Proficiency: MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, digital marketing analysis, CRM planning and analysis
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Sales, Advertising, Communications or related fields. Equivalent experience will be considered
* Flexible scheduling is required. During busy spring and summer season, hours will include weekends and holidays
* 1-3 years of related experience required. Prior experience in the tourism or theme park industry is a plus but not required
Languages: Fluent English
Relationships:
* Internal: Works closely with park management, regional customer hub, and other park support personnel
* External: Networks with current and potential customers, hospitality and service industry peers, regulatory agencies, business and community leaders
