Wood is recruiting for a CMMS Engineer to support our project based at our client site. We are open to considering both permanent and contract roles. This role is based in Aberdeen and hybrid working with the expectation of working 3 days from our Aberdeen office.
Responsibilities
The Role
The CMMS Engineer is responsible for updating the Computerised Maintenance Management system (CMMS) with master data, improving transactional data, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements, and supporting HSE-related activities. This position will play a crucial role in reviewing system change requests, delivering reports, planning, and executing CMMS functionality changes in partnership with IS team.
Additionally, it facilitates efficient CMMS use, provides training to new users, ensures coherence with business objectives, and maintains comprehensive system documentation to support effective work execution offshore.

Responsibilities
* Act as the Data Steward for the CMMS application
* Maintain accountability for consistency and data quality in CMMS Master data
* Maintain system effectiveness and reliability of the CMMS through collaboration with IS on continuous improvements and timely resolution of technical issues
* Ensure that all changes to the CMMS are coherent with the company business objectives, fully tested, and rigorously documented
* Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) of system changes and upgrades
* Assure consistency and robustness of CMMS processes and support design in order to have high-quality data in support of reliability
* Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, user roles, security protocols, and data management practices to support consistent CMMS operations across the organisation
* Work with IS to produce the Maximo Licensing strategy and ensure users are allocated the correct license, which has a direct bearing on the cost of Maximo licences
* Ensure CMMS Management of Change requests are implemented on time and to the required standard
* Ensure the CMMS meets HSE requirements that can be demonstrated on demand
* Manage CMMS data and ensure the standardisation and audit asset register against data quality standards
* Assess the effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving team performance
* Support the efficient use of CMMS, and deliver comprehensive CMMS training to ensure effective system utilisation by all Maximo users
* Provide 1st line Help Desk Support for all Maximo issues and liaison with 2nd line support vendors to resolve Maximo problems and enhancements
* Ensure delivery of regular and ad hoc reports as required, including agreed weekly/monthly workflow measures and maintenance and reliability KPIs
* Maintain accountability for monthly business management reports

Expected
* Technical Degree/HNC in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
* Extensive experience in Maintenance Management and Operations Excellence
* Advanced proficiency in Maximo CMMS and associated maintenance management systems
* Strong data analysis capabilities, including SQL querying and large dataset manipulation
* Expert level in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, and Word
* Demonstrated experience with business intelligence tools
* Proven track record in change management and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies
* Experience in process mapping and optimisation
* Oil and Gas industry experience
* Willingness to travel offshore as required by business needs
