Role: Chef Manager
Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is supporting a reputable secondary school in the Tunbridge Wells area and has the opportunity for a Chef Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food service and maintaining exceptional standards in all aspects of food service.
* Lead a team of chefs and catering assistants, providing guidance and coaching to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the school administration to ensure seamless integration of food service with the school's overall operations.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and other relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Chef Manager in a high-volume, quality catering establishment.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
* DBS Enhanced clearance is essential for this role.
