The team
We provide strategic analysis and advice to the Hitachi Vantara sales leadership in the Northern EMEA region (UK & Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Africa, Middle East & Pakistan) supporting planning, decision-making and forecast management to enable the business to focus on Customers and on leading the sales organization to success. Our team is highly visible, working closely with leaders across Inside Sales, Commercial and Enterprise Accounts segments, with responsibility for translating the sales strategy into an operating model and collaboration is critical to our success.
The role
You will be managing a team of 4 Sales Operations resources where you will mentor and coach to deliver high value of support and implement best practice and consistency across the business. Be a trusted business partner to Regional Sales VP and act as a proxy when required. You will drive sales operational excellence and deliver accurate forecasting, define seller activities, productivity benchmarks, and pipeline best practices, and provide recommendations to regional leadership. In this role you'll lead sales performance management and ensure sellers and managers are provided dashboards with visibility and insight into targeting, performance, and customer activities in alignment with GTM strategy. You'll be responsible for overall planning, quota allocation, and territory alignments for all sales roles, in collaboration with the RVP and leaders in sales, operations, finance and HR.
What you'll bring
* You are a people developer and coach with proven experience leading and motivating a high-performance international Sales Operation function in a global high technology company.
* Strong financial, analytical and decision-making skills and fully conversant with financial modelling, business indicators, financing solutions and financial trends with the ability to communicate new concepts and influence business and sales leaders, whilst maintaining their respect and confidence.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* A high level of integrity and ethics and a change leader with a deep understanding of the sales cycle and customer purchase drivers.
* Logical thinking and problem solving. You have a structured approach and a sense of urgency, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, showing sound business judgment in the face of changing priorities.
* MBA or graduate business degree preferred but not essential.
