Job Scope
They are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to work directly with their Chief Commercial Officer. You will possess an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record of selling cutting edge payment solutions in a high-growth environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive payments experience and a strong network in this space, you will generate net new business, orchestrating the entire sales process and act as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
Day to day you will:
* Identify prospects and grow a healthy pipeline across various verticals.
* Sell our payment solutions and services through outbound techniques.
* Help prospective clients with queries and handle detailed questions about our product capabilities, selling consultatively, positioning yourself as an industry expert
* Prepare presentations and proposals for prospective clients.
* Share best practices, key business insights and industry trends.
* Provide feedback on local trends including competitor insights, customer needs, sales, product, and marketing information.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* 3-5 years sales and payments experience including integrations and compliance.
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex deals for net new business.
* Ability to navigate complexity and create clarity out of ambiguity.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
* Proficient in CRM software and sales management tools.
* Self-motivated and highly organised
* Excellent communication skills demonstrating empathy and understanding of client needs.
